Following a period of sustained growth for R&S Security, the directors were on the hunt for a new premises.
The investment would allow expansion of stock holding, a designated area for the engineers and a goods in and out facility for our deliveries as well as an onsite carpark for employees and visitors. In 2020, just before the lockdown, the directors Richard Sanders and Scott Parkinson purchased The Old Brickyard in Armthorpe.
This needed some serious renovation, but it withheld a large area of land that was desirable for an onsite car park and in the popular area of Armthorpe. Unfortunately following the purchase of the property, the national lockdown slowed the renovations right down and it wasn’t until March of 2021 that the new offices were ready to move into. With no open day allowed due to restrictions, it wasn’t the grand entrance that the directors would have liked but the transformation from being Viking Reclamation to R&S’s new HQ was a complete distraction.
Richard Sanders the director said “We have big plans for the new premises, from improving our operations to inviting customers into our very own show room. It’s a great milestone for us and both me and Scott look forward to offering our staff a great environment to work in. All of which will benefit our customers for years to come”.
